Apalachicola is a quiet little town in an area referred to as the Forgotten Coast. Walking through the streets with the Spanish Moss hanging from the old oaks, it is easy to understand why it is called "forgotten". It seems that time has left the beauty untouched for many years. Apalachicola Bay is world renown for it's oysters and shrimp. These are a few of the reasons I really enjoy visiting and photographing the area. The area offers so many opportunities to capture images of fishing boats and historic buildings. Throw in the beautiful beaches of St. George Island and complete a great photo trip.
